MARGARET M. ROSHELL Margaret M. Roshell, 73, Route 1, Box 112A, Cornell, town of Arthur, died Tuesday morning, June 8, 1993, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1920, in the town of Edson, the daughter of Hubert and Anna (Hebbring) Zimmerman. She grew up in the Boyd and Edson area. She married Theodore Roshell on Aug. 23, 1944 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boyd. Following their marriage, they lived and farmed in the town of Arthur until 1981. She was a teacher for 35 years and her last 23 years she taught at the Boyd Elementary School in Boyd. Margaret was a member of St. Anthony's parish in Drywood and a member of St. Theresa's Circle where she had served as vice president and president. Hobbies she loved were flower gardening, bird watching, and outside Christmas decorating. Survivors include four sons, George (Catherine) of Cadott, Thomas, David (Brenda) both of Cornell, and Gerald (Denise) of Boyd; six daughters, Judith (Clayton) Bourget of Cadott, Mary (Donald A.) Burns and Margorie (Patrick) Siverling, all of Cadott, Jane (Duane) Sorenson, Ann (John) Barnier, and Susan Roshell all of Cornell; three brothers, Hubert A. Zimmerman of Boyd, Louis Zimmerman of Orangeville, Ill. and George Zimmerman of Seward, Alaska; 32 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore in 1986; her parents, one brother, one sister and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Drywood with Rev. Thomas Crowley officiating. Interment will be in the St. Anthony's Church cemetery, Drywood. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, where there will be a rosary at 8 p.m. |
