THEODORE J. ROSHELL

Theodore J. Roshell, 70, Rt. 1, Cornell (town of Arthur) died Monday Aug. 25, at the Golden Age Home in Chippewa Falls, Wi.

Mr. Roshell was born Nov. 7, 1915 in the town of Arthur, son of Joseph and Emma (Koskuba) Roshell. He grew up in the town of Arthur.

He was united in marriage to Margaret Zimmerman, Aug. 23, 1944 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boyd. Following their marriage they lived and farmed on the Roshell farm until retiring in 1981 when they purchased a home in the town of Arthur.

He was a member of the Z.C.B.J Lodge and played for 25 years in his own band, the Ted Roshell Orchestra.

Surviving includes his wife Margaret; four sons, George of rural Cadott, Thomas of Chippewa Falls, David of rural Cornell, and Gerald of Boyd; six daughters, Jane (Duane) Sorensen, Ann (John) Barnier and Susan Roshell all of Cornell, Judith (Clayton) Bourget, Mary (Donald) Burns and Marjorie (Patrick) Siverling all of rural Cadott; two sisters, Josephine Nesvacil of Cadott and Emma Stanek of Boyd; and 29 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wed. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Drywood with Father Thomas Gartwaite officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, where a rosary will be said at 8 p.m.
