MARY BURESH Mary Buresh, 85, Jim Falls, died Monday morning, December 18, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls. She was born in Czechoslovakia on October 17, 1893, daughter of John Maly and Josephine Padour. She came to the United States at the age of 11. She married William Buresh on March 13, 1911, in Hopkins, Minnesota. They farmed in the Town of Arthur from 1911 to 1958 and then moved to Jim Falls. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Women's Society in Jim Falls, and a 50-year member of the ZCBJ in Cadott. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons, one brother and one sister. Surviving are four sons, Frank, Chippewa Falls; Edward, Jim Falls; George, Racine; and Thomas, Cudahy; and four daughters, Mrs. Rudolph (Mildred) Heinle, Cadott; Mrs. Rose Schmidmayr, Thorp; Mrs. Eugene (Bessie) Turecek, Cornell; and Mrs. Delvin (Mary Ann) Meyer, Cadott. Also mourning her loss are 32 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., at Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, the Pastor David Hein officiating. Burial will be at Bohemian Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandsons William Roshell, William Turecek, LaVern Buresh, Rhett Meyer, David Buresh and Thomas Buresh, Jr. |
