Thomas Buresh Thomas Buresh, 85 year old Cadott resident, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, on Saturday evening, October 16. He was born June 6, 1886 in Czechoslovakia, and came to the Cadott area in 1902. He was married to Emilie Jilek on September 15, 1908 at Albert Lea, Minn., and following their marriage they farmed in Minnesota for eight years. They then bought a farm in the Town of Colburn where they resided until retiring in 1963. Mr. Buresh then moved to Cadott where he has since made his home. He was an active member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge of Cadott. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joe Libbie Cesik of the Town of Delmar; one sister, Mrs. Emilie Koutney of Crescent; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emilie, and one daughter, Mrs. Leah Popelka. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with the Rev. Kenneth Honius officiating. Interment was made in the Bohemian Cemetery. |

Funeral Services
Funeral services for Thomas Buresh were held 2 p.m. October 19 at the Leiser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Honius officiating. During the service Mrs. Raymond Post san "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", and "Rock of Ages", accompanied by Carmen Filtz. The following acted as pallbearers: Francis Duval, Fred Koutny, John Kysilko, Ed Moucha, Albert Nesvacil and Joe Popelka. Interment was made in the Bohemian Cemetery. |
