Frank Fuchs
Frank N. Fuchs, 12873 State Hwy. 27, Cadott, passed away and went to be with the
Lord Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at the home of John J. and Patricia M. Fuchs,
where he resided.
Frank was born on March 3, 1909 in Cadott, the son of Joseph and Anna (Sauer)
Fuchs. He attended Chap Creek School in the town of Goetz. Frank farmed and did
mechanic work all his life in the town of Goetz. He was a member of Western
Fraternal Bohemian Lodge (ZCBJ) Number 141 of Cadott and was an over-fifty year
member of the lodge. He was a member of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation and
served as a director of Goetz Township Chippewa Co. chapter for many years.
Frank was always ready and willing to help the neighbors at any time they needed
help. His special interest and hobby was Moline tractors.
He is survived by his son John (Patricia) Fuchs of Cadott; daughter Mary Ann
(Robert) Christorf of Cameron; four grandchildren, Jewel Fuchs, Robert and James
Christorf, Clara (Ray) Nedland; one great-grandchild, Brittany Nedland; sister
Helen Vlach of Cadott; several nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Marie, parents and brothers Albert,
Johnnie and Charles Fuchs; sisters Lillian (Anton Frances) Capek, Mary (Rudolph)
Novotney, Anna and Josephine Fuchs; and daughter-in-law Gail (John) Fuchs.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. at the
Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott with Rev. George Olinske officiating. Burial will
be in the Bohemian National Cemetery in the town of Arthur. Friends may call on
Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Leiser Funeral Home. |
