Fuchs death notice John J. Fuchs, 63, of the town of Goetz passed away suddenly Thursday, July 3, 2008, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 19 at the Bohemian National Cemetery, town of Arthur, with Rev. George Olinske officiating. Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, is in charge of arrangements. |

John Joseph Fuchs John Joseph Fuchs 63, of the town of Goetz passed away suddenly Thursday July 3, 2008, at his home. He was born November 19, 1944, the son of Frank and Mary (Zalabsky) Fuchs. He graduated from the Chap Creek School and Cadott High School. John attended a University of Madison Short Farm course. He farmed on the family farm, later did farm news reports for Radio KDHL, Faribault, Minn. He participated in Senior Citizens Employment and Training, Inc. in Eau Claire and worked for the Food Pantry at the Beaver Creek Reserve. He also was a seasonal line worker at Figis in Marshfield. John had a home business selling and repairing computers. John married Gail Ann (Parmenter) June 9, 1979. Gail passed away Sept 16, 1983. On April 18,1987 he married Patti M. (Brett) Warrens. John is survived by his wife Patti Fuchs, Cadott, daughter Jewell Fuchs of La Crosse, a sister, Mary Christorf of Cameron, niece Clara (Ray) Nedland of Barron, nephews Bob Christorf Jr of Rice Lake and James of Cameron. Two grand nieces Brittney and Ashley Nedland of Barron also survive him. Graveside services were held July 19th 2008 at the Bohemian National Cemetery, Town of Arthur with Rev. George Olinski officiating. Greg Sima gave the eulogy and lunch was served at the Bohemian Hall. Many commented on John’s love for Polkas. His e-mail address included “polka man.” Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, was in charge of arrangements. |
