Mrs. Susie Jandrt

Mrs. Susie Jandrt, a long time resident of the Cadott area, died Friday afternoon at the home of her son, Edward, in Colburn.

MRS. JANDRT was born Antonia Prochaska on May 3, 1876, in Czechoslovakia.  She came to the United States at the age of three and settled with her parents in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she attended school and was married to Frank Jandrt in 1899.  Her husband preceded her in death in 1941.

The Jandrts moved to the Cadott area in 1906, settling on a farm in Crescent where they lived until 1934.  They moved to Cadott in 1934, where they lived until Mr. Jandrt's death.  After her husband's death, Mrs. Jandrt continued to live in Cadott and also with her son in Colburn.

SURVIVORS include two sons, Louis of Delmar and Edward of Colburn; one daughter, Mrs. Mazie Stark of Menasha; and seven grandchildren.  Four sons preceded her in death.

Services were held Monday at two o'clock in the Leiser Funeral Home here with the Rev. Gene Carlson officiating.  Interment was in the Bohemian Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Leo Peloquin, Henry Pugnier, Theo. Falkenberg, Wm. Kohls, Art Jensen, and Ray LeTrendre.
