Mrs. Francis Josifek of Drywood Passes Away

The death of Mrs. Francis Josifek, aged 72 years, of Drywood occurred at her home at 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning following a lingering illness of stomach trouble.

Deceased was born in Bohemia September 14, 1857 and in 1899 came to this country, locating in Iowa and two years later came to Drywood country, where she had resided ever since.

In 1876, she was married to Mr. Josifek, who preceded her in death four years ago.  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Sedivy and one son, Bohumil, both of Drywood.

Funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday afternoon at 2:00 with interment in the Drywood Bohemian Cemetery.
