James Andrew Kane, of 118 Center Street, Boyd, Wis. died Saturday, June 11, 1994, at his residence.

He was born June 22, 1964, in Chippewa Falls, the son of Sam Kane and Barbara Fasbender Kane. He grew up in the Cadott area and graduated from Cadott High School in 1982. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1982 to 1989. Jim was employed as a construction worker.

He married Charlene D. Zastrow on May 3, 1985.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene of Boyd; his mother, Barbara Kane of Boyd; and his father Sam Kane of Boyd; two sons, Joshua and Michael Kane, both at home; his maternal grandmother, Alvina Fasbender of Jim Falls; three brothers, David, Leo (Mellisa), Brian (Barb) Kane, all of Boyd; three sisters, Tracy Kane of Boyd, Debbie Phelps of Thorp, and Loretta Holland of Boyd.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Kane; and his grandparents, Leo and Margaret Kane and John Fasbender.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with the Rev. Richard Gilles officiating. Burial will be in Bohemian Cemetery in Cadott. Military services will be conducted by the Boyd and Cadott American Legion and V.F.W.
