Albert Kosar

Albert Kosar, 81, Conrath, died Friday, June 23, at St. Mary's Hospital in Ladysmith.

He was born April 22, 1891 in Cleveland, Ohio.  From there he moved to Cadott with his father and farmed in the Boyd area for 30 years.  He married the former Mary Kral on April 25, 1916 in Chippewa Falls.  He retired to Marshalltown, Iowa, for 20 years before moving to Conrath in July 1971.  He was a member of the Z.C.B.J Lodge for 63 years.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Adolph of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Albert, Jr., of Eau Claire; four daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Konieczny of Conrath, Mrs. Lillian Novak of Thorp, Mrs. Marie K. Rice of Fountain Valley, Calif., Mrs. Joan Ann Murphy of Garden Grove, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Ernst (Lillian) Forman of Cadott, 26 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Services will be held Thursday, June 29, at 2 p.m. at the McElravy-Geir Funeral Home in Ladysmith.  The Rev. Richard Herrmann will officiate.  Burial will be at the Bohemian National Cemetery in Cadott.
