The death of Joseph Koska, town of Colburn, occurred this morning at 5 o'clock at St. Joseph's hospital from pneumonia. He was taken ill on March 21. He was born in Bohemia 61 years ago and came to the United States with his parents at the age of 15 years. They lived in Chicago for about 11 years and then moved to Jackson, Minn., returning to Chicago for about a year before moving to the town of Colburn where he has resided for the past thirty years. His marriage to Miss Kate Tomisek occurred at Chicago 40 years ago. The deceased is survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. Thomas Zenenika, Chicago, Mrs. Matt Turecek, town of Arthur, James and Joseph, also of the town of Arthur. Three grandchildren, one brother, Vince of Chicago, and a step-sister in the old country also survive. The remains will lie in state at the Hinterberg Funeral Home, Cadott, until the hour of the funeral on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bohemian Hall, under the auspices of the Bohemian Lodge. Interment will take place in the Bohemian Cemetery. |
