Anna Kysilko

Anna M. Kysilko, 84, Chippewa Manor Nursing Home, died Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the nursing home.

She was born June 3, 1903 at Rice's Landing, Penn., to Mary and Joseph Kvasny.  She grew up in the Colfax, Iowa area.

She married John Kysilko on Sept. 2, 1922 in Des Moines, Iowa.  Following their marriage they farmed in the Town of Arthur.  They retired in 1965 and moved to rural Jim Falls, and for the past month, she has been a resident at the nursing home.

They were known for their flower gardens.  They received the Wisconsin Federated Garden Club's Bronze award in 1978.  They had recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

She was a 60-year member of ZCBJ Lodge.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jeanne Andre, Eau Claire, and June Kraeft, Bethlehem, Conn.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Chippewa Manor Chapel.  Rev. James Hachten-Cotter will officiate.  Interment will be in Bohemian Cemetery, rural Cadott.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, and one hour prior to services Friday at the nursing home.
