Frances Kysilko Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Leiser Funeral Home for Mrs. Frances Kysilko, 80 year old resident of Route 1, Cornell. Mrs. Kysilko was born Frances Kral on March 1, 1893 at Zbiroh, Czechoslovakia, daughter of Peter and Josephine Matousek Kral. She came to this country with her parents in 1906 and settled in Austin, Minn. On November 26, 1912, she was married to Joseph Kysilko at Albert Lea, Minn., and came to the Colburn Community where they farmed all their lives and where she still resided on the home farm before being hospitalized. She passed away Friday, December 7th at 12:30 p.m. at the Golden Age Home. Her husband preceded her in death on March 23, 1950. She was a member of ZCBJ Lodge and a 50-year honored member. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Margaret) Nesvacil, Cadott; one son, George Kysilko, Route 1, Cornell; a brother, Frank Kral, Boyd; three grandchildren, Janet Matschee, Lacrosse, Robert and Ron Kysilko, Route 1, Cornell; and one great-grandson, Jeffery Matschee and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. Rev. Calvin Thoreson officiated at the funeral. Mrs. Ray Post was the soloist, accompanied by Carmen Filtz. Pallbearers were Kenneth and Clarence Nelson, Lief Weeks, William Burich, Donald Naiberg and Paul Kral. Interment was in the ZCBJ Cemetery. |
