Mary A. Larson
TOWN OF ARTHUR ― Mary A. Larson, 97, of
the Town of Arthur, Chippewa County, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, at St.
Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
She was born Aug. 1, 1904, in Bolivar, Mo., the daughter of John and Mary (Sindelar)
Nesvacil. At the age of eight she moved with her family to Irvine, Kansas. In
1927 she moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she married Wesley Krecji. They
later divorced and she moved to Cadott where she lived the rest of her life. She
was married to John Larson and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by a sister, Rose LeTendre of Cornell; two brothers, John
(Margaret) Nesvacil and Joseph Nesvacil, both of Cadott; a sister-in-law,
Lucille Nesvacil of Chippewa Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Anne Roshell; and two brothers,
Frank and William Nesvacil.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27 at Leiser Funeral
Home, Cadott, with Deacon Robert Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the
Bohemian National Cemetery in the town of Arthur.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral
