Mrs. Josephine Last rites were held from the Leiser Funeral Chapel Tuesday afternoon of this week for Mrs. Josephine Moucha of Jim Falls, who passed away January 20 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls following an illness of several months' duration. OFFICIATING at the services was Walter H. Brovald of the Cadott Methodist Church. Mrs. Clair Cable sang two funeral hymns, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Ralph Andress. Mrs. Moucha was born Josephine Uhler in Czechoslovakia on November 8, 1874. She came to this country with her parents as a young girl. In April of 1893, she was married to Simon Moucha in Washington State and they resided there for eight years before moving to the Town of Anson, where they made their home until 1953, when they took up residence in Jim Falls. SHE WAS a member of the ZCBJ Lodge for over fifty years. Among survivors are five sons, Frank and Emil of Jim Falls, Stanley of Cornell, Edward of Cadott, and Henry; one daughter, Mrs. Charlie (Frances) Kycek of Hayward, Minn.; 29 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Kure. Pallbearers were Arthur, Raymond, Gene, Waldemar, and Patrick Moucha, and Raymond Kure. |
