NESVACIL

Albert Nesvacil, 89-year-old Cadott resident, died Friday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls.

He was born Jan. 2, 1897, in Tama City, Iowa. He was the son of Frank Sr. and Francis Nesvacil.

At a young age he moved with his parents to the Town of Arthur in Chippewa County. He served in the U.S. Army in World War I in Germany and France.

He married Josephine Roshell in 1921 and they farmed in the Town of Arthur. He also was a bookkeeper at the Arthur Dairy Cheese Factory for several years. He retired from farming in 1950 and cut logs for Lacina Lumber Co. in Cadott. Later, he was employed at Cornell Fire Proof.

He lived in the Town of Arthur until Sept. 1985 when he moved to the South Ridge Apartments in Cadott. He was a member of the Chippewa Falls American Legion and the ZCBJ Bohemian Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters in infancy, three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Josephine of Cadott; two sons, Frank, Cadott, and Lawrence, Whitefish, Montana; one daughter, Evelyn Brenner of Rt 1 Cadott. He also raised one granddaughter, Carol Slowiak of Stanley. He is survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott. Interment will be in the Bohemian Cemetery in Cadott.

Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Monday until the time of the service.
