Taken By Death

Mrs. Antonia Peterlik, aged 86, and a resident of this community for 45 years, passed away at 3 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of her son, Joseph in the town of Sigel.  Death followed an illness of two weeks with heart trouble.

Mrs. Peterlik was born June 13, 1861 in Czechoslovakia and came to the United States in 1880 settling in Minnesota.  She was married there to Peter Peterlik in 1883 and they resided in Minnesota until 1900 when they moved to this community, settling in the town of Arthur where she lived until the death of her husband 23 years ago.  Since that time she has made her home with her son, Joseph.

Mrs. Peterlik is survived by five sons, James, Paul and Frank of the town of Arthur, Joseph and Anton of the town of Sigel.  She was a charter member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge of Drywood.

Funeral services were held at St. Rose of Lima Church here at 9:30 o'clock Thursday morning.  Rev. A. J. Ausman officiated and burial was made in the Bohemian Cemetery.

Pallbearers were George and Paul Peterlik Jr., Arthur Burns, George Ernst, Ed. and Stanley Moucha.
