James A. Rosenberg

James A. Rosenberg, 38, of 9711 210th St., Cadott, town of Anson, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

He was born Aug. 4, 1969, in Racine to Dianne B. (Podhola) and Robert Rosenberg.  In 1977, he moved with his family to Cornell, where his parents purchased The Ranch Supper Club.  He graduated from McDonnell High School in 1987.  He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing from UW-Eau Claire.

James became an employee of Payless Shoes. He was assigned all over the United States and Canada, where he was a district manager in many locations. He was then promoted to district manager trainer, a position he held until January, 2007, when he resigned due to ill health.

Survivors include: his father and stepmother, Robert and Joan Rosenberg of Jim Falls; one brother, John (Chris) Rosenberg of Minneapolis; his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Podhola of Racine; two nephews, Tyler and Zachary Rosenberg; and other relatives and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Dianne Rosenberg on July 22, 1995; his paternal grandparents; and his maternal grandfather.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at Jim Falls United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cheri Miskimen officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Bohemian Cemetery, town of Arthur.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Jim loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle, his Mercedes Benz, and was a wonderful chef.

Rosenberg service

A funeral service for James A. Rosenberg, 38, of 9711 210th St., Cadott, town of Anson, was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at Jim Falls United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cheri Miskimen officiating.  Music was provided by Ardis Nazer, Deb Dresel, and Vicky Strupp. Several friends offered personal reflections.

Interment will be at a later date in the Bohemian Cemetery, town of Arthur.  Casket bearers included Michael Wood, Brian Allen, John Paske, Tim McCormick, Jedd Hanson, Jim Roy, and Scott Smith.

Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls is serving the family.
