Funeral of Rudolph Funeral services for the late Rudolph Vlasnik were held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Leiser Funeral Home here, with Rev. R. C. Mattson of the Cadott Gospel Tabernacle officiating. During the services, Mrs. Del Forman and daughter, Jean sang "No Night There" and "The Lord is My Shepherd". Graveside services at the Bohemian National Cemetery were conducted under the auspices of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge, and interment was made there. "Rudy" as the deceased was familiarly known to a wide circle of friends, was found dead on his farm two miles north of Cadott early Sunday morning. Rudolph Vlasnik was born at Crescent in the town of Arthur, January 25, 1915 and lived in this community his entire life. On October 17, 1935 he was united in marriage to Rose Buresh and they resided on the Vlasnik farm until four years ago, when they moved to the place just north of Cadott. A few years ago Mr. Vlasnik took up electrical work and since then has been employed for the Roshell Electric Co., of Cadott and Chippewa Falls. He was a member of Electrical Workers Union, Local 953 of Eau Claire. He was also a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Eugenia and one son, Ronald, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vlasnik of Crescent; and one sister, Mrs. Ed. Hickethier of the town of Goetz. Pallbearers were: Jos. Vlasnik, James Buresh, Joe Matsche, Kenneth Hawkins, Dolphus Smith and Edw. Kucera. |
