Mary F. Lancor Mary F. Lancor, 78, of 12462 Highway I, Boyd (town of Delmar) died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000 at the Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls. Mary was born on March 30, 1922 in the town of Delmar, the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Meyer) Wellner. She later lived and worked at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire for a number of years before moving to Stanley where she worked at Victory Memorial Hospital. On May 28, 1946 she married Clarence Lancor at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boyd, where she has been a lifelong member. They lived and farmed in the town of Delmar, where they have been residing since. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Society, loved gardening, fishing and her bird "Twee, Twee." She is survived by her husband, Clarence of Boyd; one son, Jerald (Diedra), also of rural Boyd; five grandchildren, Lisa, Jenny and Michael Lancor, Julie (Dan) Yeager and Dan (Carol) Kane; and two great-grandchildren, Allan and Derek Yeager. Plus one sister, Dorothy Deinhammer of Stanley and two brothers, Raymond Wellner of Chippewa Falls and Clarence Wellner of Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Christopher Lancor, one sister, Veronica, and two brothers, Leo and Norbert Wellner. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boyd. A spring burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Boyd. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday at Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley. A parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. |
