Evelyn Naiberg

Evelyn A. Naiberg, age 80, of Cadott, Wis., passed away Wednesday evening, June 16, 2004, at her home.

Evelyn was born on December 22, 1923, the daughter of Mathew and Rosa (Wellner) Zimmerman in rural Boyd, Wis. She was united in marriage to Donald Naiberg on June 12, 1945.

Evelyn was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish, St. Agatha’s Circle, Senior Citizen’s Club, the Foster Grandparent Program for 11 years with the Cadott school system, and a Fuller Brush representative for 18 years.

She devoted her leisure time to baking cookies for family and friends and enjoyed embroidering, card playing and gardening.

Evelyn is survived by seven children, Robert (Becky) Naiberg, David (Sandra) Naiberg, Dennis (Maureen) Naiberg, Mary Ann Naiberg, Jayne (Michael) Berseth, Thomas (Lynn) Naiberg and Betty (Ben) Ertz; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Catherine Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Naiberg in 1991; brothers, John, Arthur and Clarence Zimmerman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2004, at 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cadott, with Father Don Bauer officiating. Burial will in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. where there will be a 7:30 p.m. rosary.

Her generosity and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her.
