Clarence Zimmerman
1925-1992

Clarence Zimmerman, 67, died on September 16, 1992 at his residence in the Village of Boyd.

Clarence was born in the Town of Delmar on August 8, 1925, to Mathew and Rosa (Wellner) Zimmerman.  He attended St. Joseph's School and graduated from Boyd High School.  On September 23, 1947 he was united in marriage to Katherine Meyer at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Stanley.  Clarence famed and engaged in the Milk Transport Business for over 45 years.  He served as Clerk for the Town of Delmar for many years, and was a former member and treasurer of the Boyd Lion's Club.

Survivors include his wife Katherine of Boyd; three sons, Kenneth (Connie), Michael (Carolyn), and Daniel all of Boyd; one daughter, Joan (Richard) Bukovec of Loyal; one brother, Arthur (Clara) of Boyd; two sisters, Catherine Jackson of Boyd and Evelyn Naiberg of Cadott; and four grandchildren, Melanie and Russell Zimmerman, and Karen and Cindy Bukovec.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John.

Funeral services were held on September 19th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boyd, with Father Arthur Redmond officiating.  Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Plombon's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
