MRS. ROSA ZIMMERMAN

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Zimmerman, age 83, resident of Boyd, Wis., were held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boyd, with Father Eugene Comisky officiating. Mrs. Zimmerman passed away Saturday, December 30 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa.

She was born June 6, 1889 in the Town of Edson, daughter of John and Magdeline Wellner. She grew up in the Town of Edson and on May 12, 1908 was united in marriage to Mathew Zimmerman at Sacred Heart Church, Edson.

After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Edson and then moved to the Town of Delmar where they farmed. He passed away in 1957. for the last 14 years she lived in Boyd. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boyd, St Elizabeth's Society and St. Cecelia Circle.

She is survived by three sons, John, Arthur and Clarence all of Boyd; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Catherine) Jackson and Mrs. Donald (Evelyn) Naiberg, both of Boyd; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Frank of Chippewa Falls and Ed of Gordon, Wis.; and one sister, Mrs. John (Anna) Swatzina of Stanley.

She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Interment was made in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boyd. The Parish Rosary was recited at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, 9 p.m. Monday.
