Margaret E. Eichner CADOTT -- Margaret E. Eichner, 77, of the town of Goetz, Cadott, died peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls. She was born Aug. 29, 1924, in the town of Edson, the daughter of Joseph and Madgline (Ryba) Licht. She grew up in the town of Edson, went to grade school at Sacred Heart School in Edson and graduated from Boyd High School. Margaret married Leonard R. Eichner on Sept. 25, 1943, in Chippewa County. She was employed at the Northern Wisconsin Center for many years. She enjoyed being with her family, playing cards with her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Leonard of Cadott; children, Dennis (Rita) Eichner of Colorado, Sharon (Toby) Zenner of Stanley, Sandy (Dave) Naiberg of Cadott, Janet Eichner of Cadott, Steve Eichner of Cadott, Doug (Kathy) Eichner of Boyd, Robert (Jean) Eichner of Cadott, Brenda (Duane) Roth of Cadott, Leonard Eichner Jr. of Pennsylvania, Rhonda (James) Gurklis of Thorp and Brian (Stacy) Eichner of Ladysmith; daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Eichner of Boyd; 28 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edmund and Harold Licht of Boyd; two sisters, Henrietta Andres of Boyd and Marian Benzschawel of Stanley; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Danny; two children in infancy; one sister; and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, with the Rev. Vern Weeks officiating. Burial will be in Brooklawn Cemetery, Cadott. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday, both at the funeral home. |
