FRED NAIBERG Fred Naiberg, 84, Route 1, Cadott, died Monday evening, March 3, at the Golden Age Home, Chippewa Falls. Fred Naiberg was born Feb. 17, 1886, in Marshalltown, Iowa, son of Frank and Josie (Roshell) Naiberg. He grew up and attended school in Marshalltown and moved to Cadott area as a young man with his parents. He married Rachel Lancor, Sept. 28, 1920 in Chippewa Falls. Following his marriage, they lived in Cornell where he was employed at the Cornell Paper Mill. They moved to the Town of Delmar in 1925 and farmed there until he retired in 1958, then they moved to Lake Holcombe where they lived for 21 years. In June of 1979 they moved to Cadott. In November he entered the Golden Age Home, Chippewa Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Frank. Survivors are: his wife, Rachel, Cadott; one son, Donald, Boyd; three brothers, Rudolph, Racine, Charles and James, both of Cadott; one sister, Mrs. Vlasta Charney, Marshalltown, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church, Thursday, March 6, at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jerome Gerum officiating. Burial will be in Brooklawn Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Leiser Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 3-9 p.m. with Rosary at 8:45. |
