MRS. C. LANCOR, 73, RESIDENT 50 YEARS, CALLED BY DEATH

Passes Away After Illness Continuing Since Latter Part of April.

The death of Mrs. Catherine Lancor, 73, and a resident of Chippewa Falls for fifty years, occurred at her home, 310 Stanley St. last night, after an illness which continued since the latter part of April.

Mrs. Lancor was born in Menomonee Falls, Wis., and was married there to the late Joseph Lancor, of this city, who preceded her in death a number of years ago. She is survived by one son and only child, Oliver Lancor, of Milwaukee, and a grandson, Clarence Lancor, Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Alnore Deringer, of Menomonee Falls, and Mrs. Mary Kuepfer, Chippewa Falls; and one brother, William Magee, of Denver, Colo.

Mrs. Lancor was a generous, kindly woman, to whom her neighbors always turned in the hour of need or affliction, confident of finding a response to their appeal. Her loss will be greatly felt in the community and in the neighborhood with which she was so long identified, as well as by members of the bereaved family.

The hour of the funeral has been set for 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Hogseth Funeral Parlors, Rev. C. F. Bruhn, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of which she was a devoted member, officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill cemetery.
