VACLAV NAIBERG After an illness of nearly nine years, our brother, Vaclav Naiberg, left for the place of no return. He died on Tuesday, May 11, 1937 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. P. J. Kleine, having reached the age of 75 years. He was born on January 5, 1862 in his native country in the region of Plzen. He lived in America about 45 years. He owned a saloon in Marshalltown, Iowa and after many years there, here in Omaha. He lived in retirement in his later years. About nine years before his death he suffered a stroke and from that time was constantly ill. He leaves behind his wife, Mrs. Mary Naiberg; his son, Frank; his daughter, Mrs. Mayme Kleine; two brothers, Frank in Cadott and Matthew in Genoa City, Wisconsin; a sister, Theresa Stepan in Marshalltown, Iowa; and four grandchildren. His funeral was held in the presence of relatives and friends on May 13, 1937 from the Brewer-Korisko Chapel. The service was conducted by Rev. Louis Kvetensky and the president of our lodge. To the grieving survivors we express our deepest sympathy. – For Lodge Palacky No. 1 in Omaha. Jan Weirauch, Secretary |
